Students receive a health exam every spring, which is designed to detect any illnesses at an early stage, at which time students are taught self-management of their health to help ensure that they can maintain and even improve their physical. There are also medical consultation and counseling services offered by full-time doctors, nurses, school physicians, and part-time counselors. In addition, the Center also provides emergency treatment of injuries or illness sustained during classes or extracurricular activities, and counseling for a variety of problems. There is also a first-aid kit available for use at extracurricular events (requests must be made ahead of time). Health Management Center page (Japanese)
