Overview

 Welcome to our Department of Surgery website. Final goal of our department is establishment of the most feasible therapy for each patient. We are committed to providing superior, patient-focused care and preparing the next generation of surgeons to meet the highest standards of excellence. This vision combines a dedication to advanced research, exceptional education, and the development of newer, better treatments and procedures. We are doing our best to get this final goal everyday and every time.

We are usually performing surgical treatment in patient with below disease:

  1. Hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery: liver cancer, bile duct cancer, pancreatic cancer,
    cholecystolithiasis, choledocholithiasis, etc
  2. Gastroenterological surgery: esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, small intestinal cancer,
    colorectal cancer, gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST), etc
  3. Laparoscopic surgery: gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, cholecystolithiasis, etc
  4. Endocrinological surgery: breast cancer, thyroid disease, parathyroid disease, etc
  5. Pediatric surgery: inguinal hernia, malignant tumor, laparoscopic surgery etc

 When you have sickness to need surgical therapy, we would like to provide excellence-established surgical care with humanity. Our mission is to provide outstanding clinical care to our patients, develop new treatments for disease through research, and train the next generation of leaders in surgery.

  3. Clinical and basic researches using an artificial pancreas
  4. Pharmacokinetic research of Kampo Medicine
  5. Exploration of novel therapeutic strategies for enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS)
  6. Clinical and basic researches to find new evidences of nutritional support for ERAS
  7. Surgical research using hyper eye medical system
  8. Basic research of liver regeneration and hepatocellular carcinoma
  9. Novel therapeutic therapy in hepato-biliary-pancreatic cancer
  10. Clinical and basic researches using electron microscopy sciences in pediatric and adult surgeries
