SELF INTRODUCTION |
|
Dr Ngatu Nlandu Roger, from Congo DRC, PhD candidate in Environmental Occupational Medicine in Kochi Medical School, Kochi University, Japan. I graduated from Kinshasa University, Faculty of Medicine, Congo DRC (Zaire) in 1997 and have been working in UN-HCR medical projects in Central Africa region, teaching in Nursing sciences department of Songwa University in Kinshasa; then as clinician and director of Songwa Medical Center before studying Epidemiology (2005-2006), Victor Segalen University-Bordeaux2, France.
I joined Kochi Medical School in March 2008 and I am very involved in research
in the field of occupational lung diseases and Environmental medicine in
general. My current studies include occupational lung diseases, Environmental
allergic dermatitis (animal experiments) and Needlestick injury (NSI) prevention
in Congolese hospitals. I am one of the first certified AIRPNEUMO (Asia
Instensive Readers of Pneumoconiosis Radiographs) pneumoconiosis CXR Reader
(2008), member of the International Committee on Occupational Health (ICOH/CIST)
and Japan society on occupational Health (JOH) and founder of the N.G.O.
LIPS (Ligue pour la Promotion de la Sante) dealing with Health and Education
issues in DRC. |
