■ 研究についてのPR

　私は、公衆衛生活動を進めるための主要な技法である疫学を専門にしています。疫学とは、ヒト集団での健康問題の発生と分布の状況、そして、健康問題の発生と予後に関連する因子を解明する学問です。私は、疫学の技法を使って、高齢者のすこやかな長寿に結びつく生活習慣を明らかにする研究と、生活習慣病の一つであるがんの発生状況を記述する研究に従事しています。
